This week at The Small Batch, We have: Cinnamon rolls in three varieties - classic, blueberry, and walnut. Sourdough bagels and rosemary sea salt focaccia fresh from the oven. And for the sweet tooth - oatmeal cream pies, brown butter toffee chocolate chip, and birthday cake cookies. Preorder only. Menu closes Tuesday at 8 PM. Pickup Saturday from my home, or Thursday at Columbus Regional Hospital for hospital staff only.
Made over two days using just four ingredients: bread flour, water, salt, and an active sourdough starter. The dough slow ferments overnight, developing a complex, slightly tangy flavour. The following day, each bagel is hand-shaped, boiled, and baked until dense and chewy throughout. No shortcuts. No additives. Pack of four.
