These terms cover the SMS text messages sent by The Small Batch, a home bakery in Columbus, Indiana. You opt in by ticking the consent checkbox on the signup or order form at thesmallbatchcolumbus.com. The box is unticked by default and entering your mobile number does not on its own opt you in. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase: you can create an account, place an order and collect it without ticking it, and you will simply receive no texts.
The sign-in code that verifies your number when you log in is not part of this program. It is sent through a separate verification service, only ever in response to you asking to sign in, and you receive it whether or not you opt in to these messages.
Around one to three messages a week, depending on whether you have an order that week. We do not send daily messages and we do not send anything at all in a week when Irushi is not baking.
We do not charge for messages. Message and data rates may apply from your own mobile carrier.
Reply STOP to any message and we will stop texting you. You will get one final message confirming it. You can also turn individual notifications off in the app under Profile, or email us and we will do it for you.

Opting out of texts does not cancel your account or any order you have already placed. If you stop texts you will still be able to sign in — we will still send the sign-in code, because without it you cannot get into your account.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed, so we always show your order status in the app as well.
We use your number to send these messages and for nothing else. We never sell it or share it for anyone else's marketing. See our privacy policy for the full picture.
